Dunga Affirmed to Coach Brazil
Brazil coach Dunga explained that he would not care to continue his post after the team defeated the Netherlands 1-2 in World Cup quarterfinals, Friday.
When asked about his future, he told reporters, “We know that when I started that I would be here for four years.”
“Sadly, it’s hard, no one is ready to lose.”
Dunga replaced Carlos Alberto Parreira in July 2006, immediately after the last World Cup.
A midfielder with a hard lump at the time of becoming a player, Dunga captained the Brazil team that won the World Cup in 1994 and runner-up four years later.
He was selected as the coach of a surprise, considering that there has been no previous coaching experience and his appointment as a result of lack of discipline and commitment among players.
His first decision is to write off players such as Cafu, Ronaldo, and Roberto Carlos and he then lost his patience on Ronaldinho, so taking it off the squad for South Africa.
Dunga farm team won the 2007 Copa America and Confederations Cup in 2009, also topped the World Cup qualifying group of South American zone, but many advocates and analysts do not like the physical style and their counterattack.
